Widgets are information, features, or images you can add to your iPhone home screen for immediate access or viewing. There are small, medium and large widgets that you can add to your phone. There are lots of different options for what you can add and lots of new ways to organize your home screen.

Adding widgets to your home screen is simple. All you need to do is long press on the home screen just like when you are moving apps. Any apps you have on the screen will start to vibrate and there will be a dash icon over them.

How to edit apps and widgets on your Home screen

At first, it may seem a bit confusing to move all these widgets and apps around your home screen. However, there are a few things you should know that will make organizing your screens much easier.

After long-pressing the home screen to make it editable, you’ll see a dash in the top left corner of apps and widgets. Tapping these will remove them from your screen.

With apps, instead of deleting them entirely, you can now move them to your App Gallery, which you can access by swiping right.
