Printing on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch is easier than you think, thanks to Apple’s AirPrint protocol. Just spend a little time setting up your printer before you start using it on your iOS or iPad OS device.
But what if some printers don’t support AirPrint? do not worry. To submit print jobs wirelessly, you can continue to use the printer manufacturer’s support app. Also, if you’re using a wired-only printer, you can choose a third-party AirPrint activator to help.
Print on iPhone and iPad using AirPrint
AirPrint is Apple’s wireless protocol that allows the iPhone iPad to communicate wirelessly with the printer. No drivers or support software is required. The only thing you have to do is make sure the printer and your iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi router. If so, you can print right away!
If you’re using a modern printer with wireless capabilities, it may be compatible with AirPrint. Below is a complete list of compatible printer models that support AirPlay. If the printer is not listed there, skip to the next section.
1. Start by connecting your printer to the same wireless network router as your iPhone or iPad. You should check your printer’s user manual or online documentation for specific steps. 5. You can keep the print job queued. If you want to see them, open App Switcher on your Apple mobile device (swipe up from the bottom of the screen or House Button), select Print center.. Then tap the print job, Cancel printing If you want to cancel.
