Your Apple Watch with the same black sports band looks pretty boring. If you love wearing accessories, you may want to switch between different bands and watch faces depending on when and how you dress. A stainless steel bracelet for work, a leather strap for an evening out or a colorful nylon strap for the weekend.
Apple itself will be happy to sell you a band or six. But Apple’s Sports strap starts at $49 and the Milanese strap costs $99. But you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good band. There are many third-party Apple Watch bands that you can find in the $10 to $50 range.
Apple Watch bands come in two sizes, a smaller size for 38mm/40mm models and a larger size for 42/44mm models (these two sizes support the Apple Watch Series). And don’t worry, these Watch bands only take a few seconds to change and don’t require any tools (more on that later).
Here are the best third-party Apple Watch bands you should buy.
The first thing that comes to mind when you think of a nice watch strap is of course the leather strap. There is a huge variety when it comes to leather straps. You can choose from different patterns and textures. But nothing beats a simple and supple tan finish.
Belkin offers a lightweight and comfortable leather strap that costs less than $10 and comes in three different colors.
If you’re looking for a thicker and more stylish leather strap, check out the Mifa Leather Strap ($25). It is made from genuine leather, is 3mm thick and comes with a black buckle that gives it a classy look.
Apple’s official stainless steel link bracelet costs $349. But you don’t have to pay much if you go for a third-party option. Kades’ stainless steel link bracelet is under $25 and looks almost identical.
It comes in silver and black, and features a classic double-button folding clasp that locks and securely hides underneath the strap. It is made from 304L stainless steel with a precision milling process.
This gives it a smooth finish while remaining sturdy and durable. And like Apple’s version, it comes with a delinker. So you can remove the links and make the strip shorter (or longer) for a better fit.
Usually, when you go with a more classy steel wire, you will lose color. But MCORS’ Milanese Loop gives you a stylish look, along with eight color options (including Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, and Black).
The MCORS Milanese Loop features a mesh design made from stainless steel and features an adjustable magnetic cover. There is no latch here. Magnets hold the strap in place. For under $15, the MCORS Milanese Loop is a fraction of the cost of Apple’s $99 Milanese Loop strap.
QIENGO Sport Loop Band [not available]
What’s better than a wristwatch? Four watch straps. Apple’s Sports Loop Nylon Band is known for its lightweight, breathable, and versatile design. And the QIENGO Sports Loop bands offer similar features at a much lower price.
You can get a pack of four of these Apple watch bands, in different colors and patterns, for as little as $16 (rainbow is our favorite).
The nylon strap is lightweight and absorbs moisture and perspiration very well. This makes it easy to wear throughout the day. If you don’t like the Sports Loop design and you prefer the classic buckle style, you’ll be happy to know that you can also get a nylon version.
Fintie makes a very good nylon band for the 42mm/44mm Apple Watch models. They come in a variety of colors such as Grey, Red, Black, Olive, Navy Blue, Camo, and many more.
They are knitted from the same breathable nylon material and come with a black stainless steel buckle clasp. You can buy the Fintie Nylon Sports Strap in any color for under $11.
Tobif Apple silicone watch band [not available]
The Apple Watch’s default sports band, with its soft silicone and snap-on case, became an instant classic. While this is a great all-in-one strap that comes in a variety of colors, it’s also quite pricey at $49 a piece.
Tobif’s silicone strap gives you the same soft silicone finish and similar pin and clasp mechanism for less than $13. And for that price, you’re getting a pack of four Apple watch bands. You will find many classic colors like Black, Navy Blue, Pink, Gray, Wine Red, etc.
Zsuoop sports watch band [not available]
With the Apple Nike Watch Strap, Apple has taken its already popular Sport bands and added ventilation holes to them. This makes the Silicone strap even more breathable and creates new opportunities for colorful patterns.
If you like the design and don’t want to pay exorbitant prices for an official Apple strap, buy Zsuoop’s Sport Watch Band bundle. You get two different straps with different colors and patterns (with different strap colors and accents for the air vents). A pack of two for different Apple Watch sizes costs less than $11.
How to change the strap of Apple Watch
As we mentioned above, changing the Apple Watch strap takes seconds and you don’t need any special tools.
- Remove the Apple Watch from your wrist and turn it around.
- Hold Band Release which you will find right on the strap.
- Then simply slide the strap left or right to remove it.
- Now get the new strap and make sure it’s correct. Press and hold Band Release button and slide the new strap into place. Then let go Band Release button. You will hear a satisfying click. This tells you that the strap is in place.
- Now repeat the process for the other side.
And just like that, you have finished changing your Apple Watch strap. It’s easy, isn’t it? This is why you can buy multiple straps, and even carry them around in your pocket to change them out depending on what you’re doing (it’s especially helpful to carry a Sport Strap to switch to). during exercise).
